Hey guys, any good tips on a top quality wrap?  After I put about 3 mags through my OBR everything is really blurry from the mirage above the can.  Have you guys had good results?  Also Id like to be able to pull the can off sooner when I'm done without an oven mit...  Am I just being a baby?

Hey John
I use a wrap from RiflesOnly website on my 20" OBR that I run a Surefire CAN on. It is under the TAB gear section on their webpage. I really like how it keeps the heat to a manageable level for removal, and it keeps the heat mirage from jacking up your line of sight. <-great bonus when shooting precision distance.  However be careful under sustained rates of fire, I have melted mine a little. I still use the crap out of it cause it works great, but looks a little worn inside (but who cares). Hope this helps

Hope they don't get pissed I put their link in here.

Tried the tab gear cover.  Pretty good.  I found the armageddongear suppressor cover to be better.  It does not slide around as much, and can be cinched down

I picked up the TAB SAS R because of the same problem.  I just got it last week so I haven't made it out to the range yet but it seems like it tightens down on it tight so it won't slide around if I don't want it to.

This is the one I was looking at, it seemed more secure because it doesn't use Velcro or any circumferential mechanism to close, it is made as a tube so it cant come loose.  They aren't that expensive I just wanted to avoid getting 3 before I find the one I like.

Thanks a ton for the info all.

I have 2 of these http://www.eliteiron.net/elite-iron-suppressor-wraps.html for use on my OPS Inc cans.  They are the way to go IMHO.

Uses two straps and then a cotton paracord type lacing system.  I've melted my Elite Iron wrap just a little after some rapid firing, but still holds up well.

Armageddon gear is about the best out there.  After them, TAB gear gets my vote.
