We know there is a 10.5” Select-Fire PredatAR that's mil/leo only...
...AND we know that an OBR 5.56 SBR is already offered to the public… SO, what would be so bad about sticking that 10.5” PredatAR upper on a semi-auto lower? It’s not like you guys would have to design a new rifle… 
PredatAR + short hand guard + 10.5” barrel = happiness… …Maybe for Christmas? 
What about Shot Show 2014? 
Should I be patient? Or am I better off getting a tax stamp on my lower, re-barreling, and taking a hacksaw to the hand guard?

I know Mark probably has some good reasons for prioritizing what projects he offers to the public and which ones go to the mil/leo community.
