Anybody have experience with the class? I know it's the same company from the magpul videos.
Has any body used their LaRue rifles at one of these classes? I'm a little worried about getting out to a mile with mine. I've hit clay pigeons and 4 in steel plates at 1000 yds but how much harder is the mile shot? |

So, with him teaching you, you will have no issues. |

i have one of the first 7.62 OBR's that came with the XTRAXN.
i love it- i have taken it to 2 LE sniper classes. at both classes- the instructors gave me a hard time about using a semi auto. both classes, i was the high shooter. they still gave me shit about it being a "french gun" though (either from the origin of the name LaRue, or the misunderstanding of my red white and blue index clips)
as far as the mile shot goes- in Vegas, at the SHOT show LE/MIL range demo day- i fired a similarly equipped 18" OBR, with a much lesser scope than i use. Todd Hodnett was calling wind for me- and i made a first round hit on a larue silhouette at 1500. i wouldn't worry at all about taking your rifle to that class. btw- when i bought my OBR- and saw the accuracy coming out of it- i sold my Remington 700 PSS, and put the cash toward better glass. the OBR is much more accurate than a box stock 700 PSS in my experience. |
