I can see the confusion

A little over a year ago, I had one of my competition over/under stolen, and insurance gave me $5k for it. I decided to finally buy a complete rifle to avoid the hassle of building rifles, which I've done for years with shotguns and 10/22's. I just didn't want the trouble this time. I went onto General Discussion and asked what the best gun was. I was told to go for Larue because of what I had in mind and my price tag. I ordered July 19 with a quoted delivery time on or before November 5th. Every time I call, I am told it'll be a few more weeks. I'm not going to cancel, because I'm not going to spend $5k for a mediocre rifle. I already have plenty of them. I want "the best" because I make more money than I need, so spend money on others and occasionally splurge for myself. Although I am furious with the manufacturer and fed up with them lying to me, I am still looking for "the best" gun out there. So stop telling me I can't have the gun. It's not your place.
