These guys remind me of a couple dudes at work, if the Supervisors in the room you know these guys will be attached to their ass embarrassing themselves hoping the boss will pat them on the head and tell them "Good Boy".

The only reason I log on to this site is to check on updates of the rifle I ordered a year ago...and larue gives ONE bland " few weeks" update in that time...and I'm a troll/move along/ect. I have heard about is family, people he meets, pictures of hunts, etc, etc larue is the most active poster of any manufacture I've seen....but the info we are all asking for is never posted. If asking a simple question about a gun i have a lot of $ tied up in, makes me a troll then so be it. Truly ask yourself...are you happy with their updates on the gun you have thousands invested in? |

I'm confused by some of these postings. I'm not sure why:
1. If you put a rifle on order and can't stand the conditions of the wait, cancel your order. If no one asked for your opinion, keep it to yourself. 2. If you don't have a rifle on order, my guess is no one asked for your opinion, so see 1. 3. If you have a question about any company's policies, take it up with them (call, write). If you do not like the answers, vote with your wallet and get out of the way. BigDozer66 Well good for you...did you just fall off the turnip truck? Almost everybody has paid $2000 for a stripped lower and are still waiting for the rest of their rifle. Your so far back in line you don't even know what's going on do you? |

Everyone knows there is at least a year to wait. Closer to a year and a half. I don't see a problem with wanting to know how the progress is foing especially when funds have changed hands. A monthly update would suffice.
However, LaRue doesn't do that so you either order and wait, order and say screw this and back out, or don't order at all. Guess it depends just how bad a person wants a LaRue. With all the orders though, I'd hate to be the one making the update calls or emails. My luck would be something would happen that I'd have to use some of the rifle money only to get the call that its ready. Probably why I haven't ordered one. Yet. |

Your so far back in line you don't even know what's going on do you? No turnip trucks around but maybe that is what you ride on over there in la-la land. 
If they have received their lowers then they own the gun and the Gubmint can't say it was "Post-Ban" which is what LaRue is trying to do so all the people living in screwed up Communist/Socialist states were hoping for.
I haven't seen any other companies with backlogs doing the same so I would give kudos to LaRue for helping out. 
I don't see anyone who has ordered 1911's that were charged when ordered bitchin' about waiting 12-18 months for their pistols that they already paid for.
