First off do not take this as a bashing thread, I am simply passing along information that I was unaware of when I placed my order so I am sure many of you are as well.
If you order a 14.5" PW PredatOBR with plans to have the MD removed to install a different brand it will void the warranty of your barrel. So for people like me who run a can that is not made by surefire, your options are to order one 16" or longer or to void your barrel warranty by having the MD removed on the 14.5". Hopefully Mark can tag this or make another thread informing us about any other changes that would void the warrant. Maybe a warning on the page for the 14.5" model to inform people of the fact before an order is placed. Again, we don't need to turn it into bashing, just an FYI. |
