Completely understand what they got into when they placed thier orders with LT?
I'm starting to wonder if the answer is no with all the threads here from people acting like 5 year olds. My 18-month old son is more mature than a bunch of these people... This post is in protest of the childishness. :D and since I know Mark will probably read this, I'm a new customer, I've got orders in for a 5.56 PredatAR, a 7.62 PredatOBR (and I hadn't seen the take down features before I ordered, I was pretty damn geeked to see those pics afterward) and a bunch of backordered PMags, and some glass will get ordered when I get closer to rifle delivery. I ordered based solely on the word of a good friend of mine that was an early purchaser of both an OBR and an OBR Lite, and how happy he was with both of his rifles. (I know at least one other person that has two rifles on order because of my friend's glowing praise of them as well). The point being, I know damn well I'm in for a good wait, and that the wait will be worth it in the end. Of course I would love for them to show up next week, but I'm not 5 years old, I can be patient. As you obviously know, just stick with doing what's right across the board for you and for your customers, and you'll continue to have people lining up for some excellent products. And a few jackasses that can't handle when things don't go the way they want. btw, is it odd that I'm almost just as excited to get my first dillo as I am one of my rifles? lol |

I knew what I was in for. I was pretty antsy about a year ago waiting on my first OBR, but I knew what to expect with my last order.
There was a strong suspicion back then that the delays had something to do with getting barrels into the shop, so it's no surprise now to hear the same suspicions floating around. Whatever the cause, try ordering a gun from GAP or a custom 1911 from Wilson and see how long you have to wait. If you want the best, you have to stand in line for a while. I felt much better about things when LT sent out those lowers. |

I was slow to order because I research the sh*t out of things and bc I just let life/work get in the way. I was completely prepared for a 6+ month wait and was fine because I wanted the best. The next thing I know 3,6,9 months go by, BO gets re-elected, and Sandy Hook happens and I'm slapping myself for being so complacent. I just took it for granted. Made my 762 OBR and 556 tAR orders way late but in full knowing it was mid-mass panic. Didn't realize they'd send out lowers seperate but was prepared for what I suspected would be a 8-12 month wait.
I only have myself to blame for waiting too damn long. The best news is I have all the goodies already selected to outfit these black beauties with. I just have to wait. Tick tock tick tock |

I look at it like if you are here, looking at Larue gear, you already know what to expect.
Larue is the best of the best, and look at the times we are in, its gonna be a long wait for some high quality... high demand items. And we should all be fine with it because it is what it is. |

Not only will you get fine rifles from LaRue but you also become part of the LaRue family here |
| I have ordered NUMEROUS items from LT and sometimes I was quoted / given a specific lead times (6, 8, 10, 12 weeks, etc...) and they did in fact miss their mark on a few occasions...oh well life goes on. I am not gun poor so I just enjoy my other firearms while I wait. I have come to accept it...nothing I can do about it. LT products are second to none and well worth the wait! If you don't like the wait then move on down the road, give your place in line to someone else. |

I only have myself to blame for waiting too damn long. Same here, I've been wanting one for years. This deployment I had already set it up as my deployment present to myself but waited until the SHTF to order dumb dumb dumb dumb Same here. No one else to blame for my mistake. I am happily in for the long wait... |

... Not only will you get fine rifles from LaRue but you also become part of the LaRue family here Family? Imaginary friends on the internet? Think objectively. And Mr. Larue isn't GIVING you branded bottle openers and seasoning, it's built into the cost of your products. So unless you would have, on your own volition, ordered and paid for a Larue branded bottle opener, Larue branded seasoning, and the hour-long Larue commercial DVD, then stop thanking him for it. He's making you pay for it. I think all anyone is asking is that the terms of the transaction be made clear at the outset. That's business. Unless you find the obscure LT forum, you're not going to know what the wait times are, and the website does a good job of concealing it. So do the CSRs when people call in. |

Serious question: Why are you even in the LT forum then? <--------------- The whining thread is that way. |

Ordered some index clips, apeg grip, magpul CTR ect about a month ago. Received everything but my CTR. Disappointing...yea sure, and I've seen the OD CTR in shops already since then. Has the thought crossed my mind to cancel my order? Sure. However, I've been so pleased with my previous orders and customer service that I hold a deep loyalty to buisnesses/ products I deem worthy. So I'll patiently wait for my CTR, shut my mout, and know my money went to a good place.

| I used to love the LaRue forum. Most threads were intelligent, informative, and interesting. Of my time on AR15.com, 99% of it is spent here. Lately all of these idiots polluting the forum with complaining and nonsense is ridiculous. I don't enjoy reading post after post of perpetual whining and bitching so I don't know how anyone could enjoy typing post after post of it. Come on guys. |
| I am also a newer customer of Larue's my first rifle was the costa edition for the husband. I am more than willing to wait for my 14.5 PredtOBR that I ordered in September. I now have the lower because of what's going on but I know it will be so worth the wait as the costa rifle is amazing. The quality alone is so worth it and I couldn't be happier. I am glad I get the chance to even own one cause Larue could say no to every one |

I've got maybe 4 posts in the Larue forum recently, mostly trying to be reasonable but bashing the brand somewhat. You're all smart people, you know what you want. I'll kindly take my curmudgeonly comments elsewhere... Enjoy your rifles, dudes. |
