I finally decided I'm going to get into stamp collecting, and I would like to make my first SBR on a Larue Lower, but since they don't sell them anymore, does anyone know where I might find one? I realize I'm going to pay a premium for it, but I would rather go with a Larue than anything else.

Get a Wilson upper and lower kit if you want to build a custom 5.56MM from scratch......

Wilson Combat Upper/Lower

As with everybody who makes custom items... They are out of stock....

If you can't find a LaRue, SMOS is pretty close, as they used to make them for LT... MEGA and AXTS are top shelf as well.

The Larue lowers are definitely going to be at a premium if you can even find one.

There is always the option of an OBR 12" complete rifle direct from Larue

Check the EE frequently. They also turn up on gunbroker from time to time.

Barring either of those, just buy a rifle and "get both". Nothing wrong with alternating between SBR and tack driver.

You could buy this Larue instead of building your own.

Id love to do the Arfcom thing and get the SBR OBR, but there isn't a class three dealer anywhere near me at all(closest Ive found was about a 4hour drive.

And there's no way I can afford the OBR If I do it myself and do a form 1, I can split the costs up and do it piece by piece, so its not all at once.

The LaRue Lowers will be back sooner or later, probably later, but it would be worth wait.
