I recently ordered a VFZ bipod mount and its awesome, 2 days later I built a .22 upper and now I regret not buying the QD version.

Is it possible to convert these to the QD lever?

Yes. Call the shop. They will have you send it in and charge $25 (I believe) per lever to convert it.
