Thank you Sir, I was also wondering is every one happy with the standard weight buffer, has anyone tried anything else? And if so what kind of results have you had?

Tried a heavier buffer and ended up going back to basics, just like the shop recommended.  Use the standard mil-spec weight buffer it comes with.

Thanks, that's what i was expecting to hear just wanted to make sure. As I am in NJ my Pred shipped with A2 stock, have to switch it up myself. Will be doing some Fathers Day shopping

i replaced my predatar buffer with a spikes tactical buffer of the exact same weight *within 1 gram*.  i can tell no difference in the way the weapon cycles.

why?  i didn't like the thought of some chunks of metal clanging together in my buffer so i got the spikes cause it used powdered tungsten.  now it's quieter and my OCD is happy.

The OCD is a fickle creature that must be managed.  I hear ya.
