I looked through the reloading thread but didn't really see anything that spelled out a 5.56/.223 load
When I took the 16" Stealth to the range the other day, it shot one nice big hole. The load I was shooting was a 55 grain Hornady Vmax with Benchmark powder. Im just wondering if you guys who spend a lot more time in the reloading category have found a load that is superior in accuracy that I might want to try. As always, thanks in advance! I haven't spent a lot of time relaoding, but I did check out the reloading database (in the reloading forum) and found this load for 77gr Sierra's:
23.9gr's Varget LOA 2.255" and oddly enough I just used Wolf Magnum small rifle primers. 
Five shot group, 100 yards OBR Lite with NF 3.5-15X50 Mildot off the bench. ETA: I get my brass in a bunch of places: From the range, from my M885 casings, and the EE. The group above was shot with new Winchester casings. |
