Bound to be, plus we now have the machines in place to double our RE production starting next week.

Does the receiver extension kit come with the same LaRue Receiver Extension for 5.56 Carbine / LT629-15C?  I can't tell by looking at the pics of the kit.

No, the Kit I received had a non-LaRue MilSpec RE.

Nope, it isn't.

The RE that comes in the kit is not marked with the LT logo.

Thank you guys!  Figured the math wasn't quite right with that price.

What's the advantage to an LT RE?

All I know is that my CTR stock does not wobble at all on Larue's extension but it did one the extension I removed.

That's what the lock is for?

Any other non-trivial differences?  I'll need one soon.

Other than the fact that the CTR stock does not wobble at all on Larue's extension when the stock is locked (unlike my old extension which did wobble when the stock was locked), the numbers showing the position of the stock on the receiver extension, and the Larue name marked on the end (all which I suppose could be considered trivial), I did not notice any differences (other than the price).

Not trivial.

I was just wondering.  I think it's pretty badass for an mfg to be able to produce so much in-house.

I like mine and it is super duper tight fight with my sopmod. almost too tight. but it is getting better with the more I move it and the more I shoot the gun

Same here, I hated the grey tube that came with my sopmod and this one fits better, looks better and it's made in Texas, what more could you ask for?

Have your number ready and stand-by for a little peek inside.

You know the grey is a dry lube, don't you? I haven't handled a new one for a while, but never saw a problem with the fit/finish of a Real LMT SOPMOD & R/E. I like that LT has moved production of so many parts in-house and has more control of it. Small parts that they can get from multiple places are not a problem, it's the outside single source parts that can hold up production.

I appreciate you using that fine Oklahoma built band saw.

I'd love to get into process optimization in a plant like that, Sooo much capability.

Well there you go. I haven't seen or tried a B5 SOPMOD, just LMT SOPMODs.

I thought (as in, after having had my CTR on both the LT-logo'd and the LT kit REs), that both were nice and tight, but maybe that's just me...

I do like having the logo where it can be butt-stroke-stamped into the face of a dissenter...
