A buddy and I were out on the farm today and I thought I would demonstrate the re-zero capability of the Larue Tactical tall micro mount (AKA: LT660).
Not that I ever figured it would not re-zero, but I wanted to test it myself as I think it is fun to do and also makes me feel that much better about the equipment. The distance was 50 yards give or take and the target was AR500 plates 10" in diameter. Aimpoint/LT660 combo = win Excuse the not so great video quality as it was with my cell phone camera. My other video camera wasn't working for some reason. ETA: Thank you Mark and Larue Tactical for making a product I can count my life on. I love your stuff. |

LOL..Nice video. You didn't have to throw the sight though. I still would have believed you Yeah, I wasn't planning on it. But I just thought it would be fun to try. I saw a similar video of an Aimpoint rep doing a similar thing by throwing the sight down but he only threw it a few yards. I wanted to out due him. I actually made two videos but the first one you couldn't see crap because of the sun so we redid the video. It actually got thrown twice and held zero each time. Look for a 100 yard test in the future with the same size plates. |
