I know there is a feedback thread, but it is for typical experience. My story is that Iam wheelchair bound but love hunting. Hunting was difficult when i first got in the wheelchair because there just wasn't a good way to rest my rifle in a way that i could operate my AR with any accuracy. The only options were big, heavy, and expensive and didn't offer much independance. So I decided a camera tripod would be a good place to start (this was before LT sold the manfrotto thing). So i had the top part of the tripod attached to a tabletop, and an adapter plate attached to it. I then needed a QD way to attach my gun, then i found the LT171, Perfect! Almost 2 years and hundreds of rounds and it is still holding a 12lb rifle nice and tight. Thank You Larue Tactical for Making shooting my AR possible!

that's awesome.

I enjoy reading stories about people with "disabilities" who are the furthest thing from disabled. your ability to adapt and overcome despite the challenge is an inspiration to others.

thanks for sharing.

My thoughts exactly. I absolutely love seeing someone take a disability or hardship and kick its ever loving ass. I only hope that I would have the strength and determination to do the same.

That's awesome.  I have no idea what Legends Taxidermy's role was in this, but I get the idea that they are stand up people based on two co-workers accounts.

Congrats on so many levels Yukon22!

Ingenuity, adaptation, perseverance and a can-do/kick-butt attitude... There are MANY that could and should learn from you.

Respectfully,
Brian

Hey, let us know if you need any LaRue upgrades or misc. doo-dads... I'm sure many of us might have some useful stuff from various projects over the years.  Oh yeah, it would be kind of cool to see your AR set-up unless you have a true "STEALTH"!

Honestly, pretty uplifting to read your story after a long day.

(ETA:  Looks like one heck of a great shot on that deer!)
