So it looks like I can't use my larue mount I purchased for my compact acog. Apparently, the scope I ordered has the long special ring base. I'm guessing I need the short ring base???? Can you guys point where I can get one or what other options I have.

What's the part # for the scope you ordered?

Part# MM01 seems to be the base it currently has installed. The scope is the TA26SG-10

Looks like you would need the MM07F or MM08 to mount it to a Picatinny rail. Didn't know the new ones had that special 1/4 ring mount system.

I don't think there is a "short" ring base. If you have the MM01, just exchange the compact LaRue for the full size and your set.
