I need to get a new case and I would love to hear all of your opinions on these two cases.  Pictures are great too!

I ordered a Covert back in mid-November, but I guess the tan one was too popular, as it was backordered through mid-December.  When I called, I found out that my position in the queue was for a mid-January delivery.

I went ahead and ponied up the difference for a MOAB, and am very happy with it so far...  I know that might be out of your budgeted price range (since you asked about the Covert and the Improved Discreet), but FWIW...

Plenty of grip in the velcro strips.  I have Index Clips all the way around the handguard, and still have some overlap.  I've done some moving of things around here and there, and I haven't updated the pictures in my online storage yet, but plenty of space all around for quite a bit of stuff, depending on how much you're comfortable carrying...

The see-through pocket is great for going to the POW range on post, I don't have to pull my registration papers out to sign in...

Pocket space galore, and the MOLLE allows for a utility pouch (tools, etc) or more mag pouches...

Did I mention the long enough velcro straps?  All the way around the holster and still some overlap for my FNP-45...

Thanks, that one does look nice but it is more money than I am wanting to spend on the bag.

No problem at all.  It was more than I really wanted to spend, too, but what with toting a heavier hard side case around, and the Covert case on backorder, I went with the MOAB... Very happy with it so far, and calling the change in was easy and fast.

Well I went ahead and ordered an improved discreet, hope it gets here next week.  That and the range bag.

I have both and they really are two different types of cases.  I have the improved discreet case to go hunting and to the range when i dont want to break the gun down.  It also works good in a IM3200 if i need hard protection.  The covert case is used when im going on a trip or some other place where someone might see it.  I got the blue and my family and friends didn't guess it held a gun (they said it looked like i had a casserole.)  I have a 18" Stealth with a UBR on my lower and everything barely fits, its not pretty at all like some of the ones i have seen on here but it gets the job done.  I guess its a little late now for you to get any advise from me since you have already ordered it but if you have any questions just shout.
