Does Larue manufacture scope rings usable for the AR platform? I know they make several one piece mounts but I'm specifically looking for the rings to minimize weight.
Thanks.. |

So while it will definitely give you the cheekweld, it may be higher up on the cheek than normal. LT-123 put the centerline at 1.28" above the rail while the LT-104 (the standard one piece mount for an AR-15) puts the centerline 1.5" above the rail. Not sure on the exact measurement of the Ultra Lows but it looks like less than 1" above the rail. |
| If all my calculations are correct, the LT-123 is perfect for an OBR with a scope with a 50mm bell. It should leave a clearance .195" if clearance from bell to rail and place the centerline of the scope at the approximate height of a removable carry handle sight on an AR15 so that I can use a standard stock. |

So you intend to sacrifice proper eye relief to save a few ounces? Going on a monolithic upper. Does said upper have MOA built into it? I've used rings that are the same height as the LT 129's on a standard upper and I was abls to see through the scope but it was a tight cheek weld. |
