I am a bit hung up on what to purchase/build.  I thought I had my mind made up, but now I’m just not sure.

I have two lowers on the way.  The first will be used to complete the 16” Stealth with the 3.5-15 Nightforce on top.  I still want (I think??) a SBR, and was going to go with a 12” Stealth and put a T1 on top of it.  I suppose my dilemma comes from some recent trigger time behind an Aimpoint M4 with a 3x behind it.  I really enjoyed the combination and set up.  Had some quick shots with good groups.  It wasn’t any quicker than a T1, but there has been a lot of times that I have been looking through my T1 and thought….I cant quite see good enough, I wish I had a little more magnification.  Obviously a m4 with a 3x behind it would solve that issue.

I suppose I could continue with the 12” Stealth and put a M4 and 3x on it, but I really like the idea of a T1 on something that light and short.  So, if you don’t take into account the purchase of a PredatAR or OBR, what would you guys do if you already had a 16” with a higher magnification optic.  Would you do a 12” Stealth with a T1, would you do a 12” Stealth with a M4/3x, would you do a 16” with a M4/3x and put a SBR on the back burner?

I realize the 12” PredatAR will most likely be an option, but I think id rather have a 12” Stealth instead.  Maybe some of you guys have tossed around this same issue yourself, or have had or still have a combo of what I have described and can offer some suggestions?

Thanks!

Why not go with the T1 and the magnifier?  Do you already own the 16" Stealth upper or are you going to order it?  Personally I would go 18" with the Nightforce and 16" with the T1/M4 + Mag combo.

Yea, I already have the 16" for the Nightforce.  I dont really care for the T1 and the 3x combo.  If I go with a T1, it would sit alone.

I would go with the SBR/T-1 and leave the magnification for the longer guns. A 12" SBR with a T-1 should easily get you out to 200yds on man sized target. You won't be shooting for bulls at that distance anyway with an SBR.
You might also look into the LT-724 with a T-1 on your 16" alongside your NightForce scope.

I love my SBR and have an EOTech on it. I haven't had a need for magnification on it yet. But, it still depends on what you want to use it for.
