Ive pretty much decided that my lower that starts with 13XXX is going to bother me enough that I should probably sell it and re-order a couple that arent in that serial number range (Ill cross my fingers the new ones dont have numbers adding up to 13 Anyway, .... If I were to sell it to one of you guys, most likely out of state, what are the requirments/paperwork, or is there any? I was going to make a phone call today at work, but didnt have time. As soon as I can make sure Im not doing something illegal, Ill be willing to part with this one and order a couple more. |

OOS needs FFL. Some accept from non FFL, some don't. Paperwork is filled out by the buyer at the FFL so you need not worry once it gets to the FFL. It's not a pistol so you don't need to overnight it, just can't send it via USPS. Fedex or UPS will take it and you do not have to declare it IIRC.
Edit: I will offer 100 since it's so un-lucky and brings bad juju |

Unless you sell it to someone in your state face to face (if your state allows legally), you'll need to have you're FFL ship it to the buyers FFL. This is NOT true. An individual can ship a gun to the buyers FFL. Now some receiving FFLs will only accept from another FFL, some dont care. It doesnt have to be shipped from an FFL, Ive shipped guns all over the US from UPS. In all honesty it is probably safer to ship from an FFL, but not necessary in some cases. |

I concur...up to receiving FFL. I would also suggest to call the receiving FFL for instructions. |

You can ship it directly to the buyer within your state. Obviously, I wouldn't trust sending it to someone that I didn't know or couldn't provide me with a valid carry license. But it its legal depending on your individual state law. |

No joke....it seriously freaks me out. I almost said something when I ordered it, but I was afraid I would get laughed at. I dont see myself saying....Uhhhhh JP, can you make sure the numbers in the serial number dont start or add up to 13 for me? Ill just hope for the best. I think I can keep my paranoia under control as long as it doesnt start with 13. |

Some FFL's will only accept from another FFL and not from a private party. Don't ask me why, but that is just the way they want it |
