Anybody else seen the new LaRue catalog with 10.5" and 14.5" select fire PredatAR's?

Yep, for LE only....I also noticed a 14.5 inch barrel on it.....AND a Port Selector Tech gas-block - something we've been hearing wasn't going to be available on the PredatAR and PredatAR Heavy.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.

If it's a sign of things to come, then I'm pleased. If the 14.5 inch barrel and PST remain an LE-only item on the PredatAR, then I'm disgruntled, grumpy, dis-allusioned, outraged, insulted, and butt-hurt.

There is talk of selling them to the general public in either upper alone, or complete SBR.  No talk of timing.  Also, the barrels are .750", not .625".

All you need is a RDIAS and any PredatAR can be select fire.

I have a feeling that Larue will likely go civilian on these.

They usually don't play the "We feel we can only market these to cops because civilians are untrustworthy." card.

If I haven't said it yet, Thanks Larue for being Pro-2A.

It's basically a short barrel PredatAR with an OBR Lite barrel to support the stress of select fire...

Got a source for this info?  Last time I checked with the shop, the SBR guns were LE agency purchase only.  I doubt they'll sell hardly any at that rate.  If they opened them up for civilian purchase, they'd fly off the shelves.  I know I'd love to have an OBR 556 with zero MOA rail (but let me keep the adjustable gas block) with a 10.5" barrel.

I would love and have asked several times for an OBR Lite 10.5". I'm holding my breath. I wonder why no love for the civvies yet.

Hell I'd settle for an OBR upper and rail stripped combo. I can make my own SBR!!

Mark, you need to pair a 10 or 12 inch upper with a 14 or 16 inch upper and one registered lower in a pelican case, bundle the optics into it at a discount and sell them as a complete weapons system. Leave enough room in the case to fit a Glock and night vision. Boom, done.

I would buy a PredatAR SBR
