Just a quick update. I've been on the fence on which lower I wanted the upper to sit on. Some of the lower candidates I was tossing around were POF Gen3, KAC SR15, Mega Gen2 Billet, and AX556. Ultimately, I decided I'm a purist and since I already had a complete 20" Stealth rifle, I figured I should build this as a complete OBR Lite. So I just placed and order for an LT Lower, a RISR, and a 3" piece of rail section (non came with upper) so I can eventually mount a light to it. I wanted to order the handstops as well but think I'll wait until they become available in the direct attach version along with the forearm covers. I will be changing a few things by opting for the SSA-E instead of the SSA which normally comes in the complete OBR Lite, Norgon ambi-release, and BAD-ASS ambi selector. Only thing I wont have is UDE PMAGS to match the UDE CTR , MOE, and FUG. |

Live in Hawaii, LT sent me blocked to 10rnd black ones in the UHFO package so I don't think I can purchase them. Even though all the local gun shops here sell 20 and 30 round full capacity AR15 magazines, only a few online retailers will allow the sale to HI residents. This stems from the local gun laws that restrict high cap pistol mags or high cap rifle mags that can be used on the pistol variants of said rifle. SBRs and assault pistols are banned in HI so you will never see legally a AR15 pistol, which is why AR15 high cap mags are not actively enforced in the mag restriction. Use it in a crime however and I'm sure it'd be a different story. We're are just a little bit better than CA but not by much |
