Another PVS-14 mount question. I am currently using a TNVC TM-14 twist mount and want to switch to a Larue mount. I am using a T-1 in a larue 660 lower 1/3 mount, I am guessing the High mount is what I want?

Also, does the mount interfere with my non-nv eye when wearing on the helmet? It looks like the high mount is fairly large.

Will either of their PVS-14 mounts work in conjunction with an ACOG?

Going to the A-stan in a month or so and would like the ability to use my 14 on the weapon instead helmet mounted.

SS - no.  Running a PVS behind an ACOG doesn't work (the tritium washes out everything near POA), and getting it to hold a zero with it mounted in front isn't going to happen.  The PEQ's are the way to go with ACOGs, unfortunately.  Behind an aimpoint is the only application I can see for this mount, or at least the only one that has worked for me at all.
I spent most of a night trying different configurations when doing rear security for a convoy - nothing really worked.

I just tried to mount mine to where I wouldn't have to rotate the eye cup, but it does mean the intensity knob is in an odd spot, the eye cup is a bit off (because the helmet mounting arm is using the same area).  I'll try some other setups, but I haven't stumbled on a setup that struck me as ideal yet.

That's what I figured.

Thanks though.

Will this work with a Wilcox J arm? Modification required?
