Had the new OBR 7.62 setup on a table in the barn. I was going over the features of the NightForce 5.5-22x50. And, checking the reticle for plumb with a weighted yellow nylon rope hanging from a tree about 90 yards away. The more I looked through that scope, the more my finger itched. Man, I wanted to shoot that rifle. But, I have to wait for the range later this week. Still need to clean the rifle and get the scope set. I left my tools at the office this evening. Need to rotate the scope a hair, then tighten it down.

Guess I will clean the rifle anyway. Rub her a little.

Fondling......ER...Cleaning is part of the break-in process.  I can't tell you how much I held my OBR 5.56, practicing bring it up to my shoulder in my living room. It got even worse when my wife gave me the Burris XTR scope. I didn't think I would ever get to the range. Have fun, you have an excellent rifle and scope.
