Made it to the range for a sight in session with the OBR 5.56:
26 degrees with a light breeze..The table and chair were covered in ice/snow.
The first two shots (PRVI 69 grain) at 25 yards were damn near dead center and 1.5 inches high. I made adjustments and shot 3 more rounds.
I moved the target to 50 yards, switched to 77 grain Black Hills and shot another 3 shot group (poa was the bottom of the dark center line:
made an adjustment and fired 3 more:
I wasn't able to get to the 100-300 yard area of the range and they had yet plowed that area. The range is use is a free public use range, when i signed in the last user was on 11-16). Fortunately, this range is within 10 minutes of my house. The grids on the targets are 1", and while i didn't measure, the latter groups were are easily .25" or less. I didn't shoot 5-10 shot groups as my goal was to get the sight in "close". The combination of a great weapon, great scope and great load make me excited for the potential of this weapon.
I must add I did have weapon malfunctions:
2 FTF (short stroking) and 2 failure to lock after last round. I attribute these to the super tight tolerances. I've had to use a rubber mallet to separate the upper and lower. I expect the this issue will resolve itself with more shooting,
I received the scope the same day as the weapon and managed to get her ready last night.
Scope: 3.5-15 50mm with npr-2 reticle
5.56 OBR with a 16" barrel
AAC Blackout and FDE Furniture:
It arrived.....
the photo doesn't do her justice (phone camera). I installed an AAC Blackout and some fde furniture. I like UDE, but don't care for the CTR stock. I'm hoping the weather cooperates tomorrow so I can sight her in. LT included a generous amount of goodies (finally have a green hat) thank you!

Saw this cross-posted in the AR-15 Forum and asked if it were the Prvi ammunition that was a problem. Some of their stuff tends to be low pressured.
