Shot the OBR today.
The good: Extremely good accuracy. A whole stack of 3 shot groups that were less than MOA as I zeroed it for plate work. Totally reliable. A series of ammo was tested and all functioned. Velocity: I was able to determined that the velocity of 175FGMM was around 2550 out of this gun. No complaints. The alright: Most Pmags didn't drop free. All of the metal ones did, and one pmag. Cheek weld is only OK. I put the ACS on there, and a Nightforce 2.5-10x24 in a set of LT-152 aimpoint mounts. This is 1.2" centerline. Oddly enough, it clears a MBUS sight. I estimate the cheek weld is now only 1/4 inch above what a normal AR-15 with a LT-104 is I cant get the forward bottom rail off move it back so my bipod doesn't stick out. It will not come off. I'm going to have to put it in a vice. I put a metal VFG on and it didn't even think of moving. I think this gun is a winner. I wish the cheek weld were lower, but that's it. It's actually kinda an OK shooting position and because of my cheeks it would take a PRS to be able to get the Cw I would use. |

This has been posted up several times, mine was very similar and I just removed the screws, attach the bi-pod with it open and pressed down on the legs and the rail section came right off. Worst case, I would tap the VFG with a rubber mallet before sticking it in a vise. |

Step 1: Make sure your rifle is NOT loaded
Step 2: Remove the screws on the rail section you want to remove Step 3: Attach a VFG on to the rail section after removing the screws from them Step 4: Tap on the VFG with a rubber mallet until the VFG and rail section is removed (it doesn't take too much to remove it if you have the proper leverage) Step 5: Reposition the rail section as you see fit |
| I haven't had the problems with the Pmags after inserting them several times. I removed the cheek rest on mine and haven't looked back since. I have used the rifle at various local and major 3 gun matches and I've since set the rifle up for more precise shooting. |
