Maybe there's a burr on the takedown pin, make sure it's pulled all the way out of the upper lug....
Also, you might wanna try letting the bolt down (closed), if you haven't done so already...
(if this is the problem, you darn well better admit to it... if you don't respond, we will know )
Ha ha. The very first thing I said was drop the mag. That means when I pull the CH back to check the chamber, the bolt doesn't stay open. I have built 3 rifles from piles of parts, and while I'm no master gunsmith, I believe I know the AR platform pretty well. I'm not even going to dignify the takedown pin swipe. I was asking for solutions, not smart ass remarks. You sir can go f yourself and the horse you rode in on. I finally got last night. I guess I was being too careful and it took some more umph than I was accustomed to. Just was a little nervous to pound the he'll out of a fine piece of LT goodness.
that part about the HORSE had me laughing, havent herd it used in a while, , but it has come a long way , i here they make special saddles now with this big rubber thing ( a di-do) built right into them for that purpous, makes it easy, for the intended reason / action,,,,,,,,,
JK guys were supposed to be all brothers here lets have some fun,,,,,,,,,,,
