You'll get a little more velocity and range.
It all depends on what distances you plan on shooting at. A 16" will get the job done for 90% or more of the typical AR shooters. Personally, I only see a need for the longer barreled ARs if you have a registered short barrel rifle with a 10"-12.5" barrel as your other gun. If I could have only one AR, it would probably be a 16". If I could only have (2) ARs, one would be a 12.5" and the other would be an 18". |

Nice collection there.
You've got everything pretty much covered with the AR's you have. A longer one may be a nice addition to the collection. I have a Larue 16" and 18" SPR Mod 0. If I was going to go with a 20" .223, I would probably go with something like a Les Baer Super Varmint upper and have a real tac driving AR. |

Just order a 20" OBR for the Long Shots!!! ETA: Nice collection BTW! Have a 16" Stealth that I love. Was kicking myself after I got it thinking I should have gotten an 18". Now the OBR comes out and I think an 18" or 20" OBR would be a perfect companion to go along with the 16" Stealth. |
