I did a little searching and didn't see anything about this. Based on the picture showing the various rail lengths on the Stealths I am thinking that the 16 and 18" barrels are middies. Is that correct?
Sort of related, but what would the 16" barreled Stealth with 11" rail weigh including BCG and CH? I know they're mid weight barrels. I'm debating between building something with a Government profile barrel and DD Lite rail, a Noveske and the Stealth. I can build with very nice parts for a bit less than the two premade uppers even after buying the tools I don't have and the vice block, but there's something to be said for letting the pros do their magic. Ideally LT would come out with a 14.5" version so with a pinned muzzle device it's non NFA, but the small difference in length isn't really part of my decision. The only real complication is that I'm in CT, so I'd have to swap out the FH for something officially declared to be NOT a flash hiding device, such as a PWS FSC556 comp, and have it pinned. I'm sure either company could do that before shipping. |

I am in NY and asked LaRue the same question, a while back, and they said they do not do any muzzle work. |

I was just wondering if they changed their policy.
I know Adco is top notch, but personally I would still prefer to have the "manufacturer" pin the comp. And it can be a bit of a pain timing wise, because the customer has to supply the comp (unless Adco happens to carry what you want) to arrive the same time as the upper. |
