[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Surefire Suppressor

I ordered a OSR in Dec. and also requested a Surefire Suppressor with it.
I live in Texas as well and is the OSR coming to my FFL with the suppressor or is suppressor not going to ship and I need to purchase else where

Did you order the Surefire muzzle brake or an actual suppressor? If you somehow ordered a suppressor, that needs to be transferred through a Class III FFL and you have to fill out paperwork with the BATFE and get it approved before taking possession of the suppressor. Look in the Class III forum under Armory for further info.

I ordered the suppressor and now that the shipping date is closing in i am thinking LT does not sell surefire suppressors. Probably should call but hate to bother them.

I guarantee what you ordered was a Surefire MOUNT for the OSR, no the actual suppressor. LaRue has stated several times that they don't do Class 3 sales.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the Class 3 and NFA rules first.

I e-mailed it in and with all thats going on in lT they havent caught it understanable and not a big deal will just work on it.
And i wasnt aware that they didnt do class 3 items at the time.
