I, personally, would like to buy one of these and I'm sure many other people would be interested? Can I please have some more information or a way to purchase one?

I wonder if LaRue even made that. I don't see a QD lever anywhere. Joe Seems like a lever would not be too comfortable unless it is countersunk under the side or something. I don't thinkit would be bad if it were recessed. I'm not sure I'd want one on my rifle if it required tools to remove it. It would then be more hassle than its worth. Joe |

I'm 99% sure that is a Finger Stop made by KAC. I've tried to get my hands on one but they are near impossible to find. +1 always sold out Nope, that's not a KAC unit. That is 100% LaRue goodness... I saw them at SHOT Show 2009, Thought they were Grip extensions at first. |

I have a KAC unit. It's nice but the mounting bracket for the hand stop is not flush. It's shape is also more simple.

Can't go to SAFE until you rack it. |

How do I know the hammer's dropped? All I see is a loaded mag in a rifle with the rifle on FIRE leaning against a car bumper. As an "LEO", I'm going to assume he knows about firearm safety.
I guess the firearms safety rules the Marine Corps taught me all those years ago are all BS. Thank God for all you internet commandos.
The point is he's wrong and you all know he is. Period. |

| Sorry if I offended anyone with the way our department requires us to carry our duty rifles. 'Cruiser Ready' - no round in chamber, hammer forward, magazine inserted. All it takes is racking the charging handle and a safety manipulation when deploying the rifle. Anyway, my intent was by no means to spur the argument of how a rifle should be carried, but only to point out the fact that I too was in the market for a LaRue Handstop. Again, I apologize and from here on out I will 'safety up' when taking pictures to set a good example for others on the internet. |

agentcox000,
We are also required by SOP to have 28 rounds in mag, mag inserted in rifle, not charged=hammer down (which requires the safety to be on FIRE) while we carry our rifles, trunk or crusier rack. Don't worry, molsen has been spewing this safety selector bullshit since I joined, funny he stopped for a while when USMC03 pointed out that he posted a pic of one of his rifles with a mag inserted and the safety on FIRE. Internet safety commando... |

Internet safety commando... Guys, lets please not make this into a flaming thread. We are trying to win Larue's CNC machines over for a new product. Anyhow, don't get on molsen too hard, he may be out of line sometimes, but he is .mil and we are all drilled and drilled about it being on safe. It drives me absolutely ballistic (excuse the pun) seeing weapons on fire at all, but I just tend to mumble civilians and go about my way. |
