I, personally, would like to buy one of these and I'm sure many other people would be interested?  Can I please have some more information or a way to purchase one?

I will all but guarantee that when they are available, you will get a Team LaRue email telling you all about it.

I know I really want one, maybe 2, for a couple rifles that don't have VFGs.

I wonder if LaRue even made that. I don't see a QD lever anywhere.

Seems like a lever would not be too comfortable unless it is countersunk under the side or something.

Honestly, that just looks like a pierce Glock finger grip extension with rail adapter

I don't thinkit would be bad if it were recessed. I'm not sure I'd want one on my rifle if it required tools to remove it. It would then be more hassle than its worth.

I'm 99% sure that is a Finger Stop made by KAC.  I've tried to get my hands on one but they are near impossible to find.

This.  I can glue you one of those Scherer +2 Glock mag extensions on your rail, if you'd like.  That's what it looks like to me.

I want one like this dude is using (KAC - found via Google image search), but with a LaRue-style lever attachement - solid, not some flimsy bolt/screw and a metal pad like the KAC uses:

It's used to prevent your hand slipping off of a short rail and making a port hole in your palm.

It's nice but the mounting bracket for the hand stop is not flush.  It's shape is also more simple.

Without the handle charged, FIRE is all you get.  Can't go to SAFE until you rack it.

Unless the hammer is back before you chamber a round.

How do I know the hammer's dropped? All I see is a loaded mag in a rifle with the rifle on FIRE leaning against a car bumper. As an "LEO", I'm going to assume he knows about firearm safety.

I guess the firearms safety rules the Marine Corps taught me all those years ago are all BS. Thank God for all you internet commandos.

The point is he's wrong and you all know he is. Period.

Nobody disputes any of that, well, maybe the internet commando part. The point was you were a bit extreme in you manner of pointing it out.

that's what I meant by "without the handle charged" - I wasn't saying he was free and clear, just that there are times that putting this weapon on SAFE is not possible.

Sorry if I offended anyone with the way our department requires us to carry our duty rifles. 'Cruiser Ready' - no round in chamber, hammer forward, magazine inserted. All it takes is racking the charging handle and a safety manipulation when deploying the rifle. Anyway, my intent was by no means to spur the argument of how a rifle should be carried, but only to point out the fact that I too was in the market for a LaRue Handstop. Again, I apologize and from here on out I will 'safety up' when taking pictures to set a good example for others on the internet.

agentcox000,

We are also required by SOP to have 28 rounds in mag, mag inserted in rifle, not charged=hammer down (which requires the
safety to be on FIRE) while we carry our rifles, trunk or crusier rack.

Don't worry, molsen has been spewing this safety selector bullshit since I joined, funny he stopped for a while when USMC03
pointed out that he posted a pic of one of his rifles with a mag inserted and the safety on FIRE.

Guys, lets please not make this into a flaming thread.  We are trying to win Larue's CNC machines over for a new product.  Anyhow, don't get on molsen too hard, he may be out of line sometimes, but he is .mil and we are all drilled and drilled about it being on safe.  It drives me absolutely ballistic (excuse the pun) seeing weapons on fire at all, but I just tend to mumble civilians and go about my way.
