I just got it yesterday, and it is what it purports to be, but while the rear has the throw lever, the front has a allen screw....OK, this completely defeats the purpose of a quick disconnect doesn't it? So Is the eotech mount not a true quick disconnect? Right now I have it pushed so far forward that the allen screw is forward of the receiver's rail....but I dont think it's supposed to be that way. Thanks for input on this.

I binned the screw on mine, it locks up tight enough using just the throw lever and has never lost zero.

The allen screw traps a spring and ball detent that snaps the forward portion to the rail without the need to tighten...
