I took my new 20" Stealth out yesterday and first 20 rounds went through without a hitch. Then I got about 2 shots out of the second mag before it started short stroking. I wiped down the BCG and re-lubed, but it didn't do any good. I tried about 10 more shots the last 2 wouldn't even eject the spent brass. I got it home, gave it a good cleaning, and will try it again later this week. Is there a break in period for these? Any recommendations?

Included a pic because it looks f'n sweet!

Call LaRue and explain what's going on.  Somebody else had a similiar problem and IIRC he had to send it back.

I don't know what the problem was?  I cleaned it, lubed the hell out of it, put 100 rounds through it. Everything worked fine except I had one double feed about 40 rounds in. I left the range with the biggest smile ever. Hat's off to Larue for a top notch product! Now I need to start saving for one of those OSR's

Maybe there was some confusion on what length buttstock/buffer weight would be run and you have an "incompatable" combination? Do you have a carbine lower to try this upper on?

*This is just one possible thought.*

I hate you.  You have 20 round PMAGs.

Have you tried  backordering with Brownells?  I got lucky and they shipped 10 of them to me about a week and a half after I backordered them.

Yup, apparently it just needed more lube and more usage. I didn't think it was a buffer issue because it fired the first 20 rounds with no problems.

Got the Pmags from AIM surplus waited about 6 weeks total.

Glad to hear all is well. What ammo was being used?
