Any idea on what an Iron dot mount with a MRD weighs? I want to do a light weight buld and am toying with one of these of the Aimpoint Micros. Any help would be appricated. CB |
It's pretty darn light.  I don't know what that translates to... I like mine, for what that's worth, and it didn't cost $500.00 |

I see that the burris FF weighs about 2oz, so I'm wondering what the LT mount weighs. It looks like for $350, I can have a MRD in a LT mount that weighs under 4 oz...I like that. I think that's the route I'm going to go when my new spikes upper gets here. It should be a very lightweight set up. End product will have the following: Spikes upper with a 5" BBL DD Lite 7.0 rail (lighter that LT's 7.0, sorry Mark) Tac Inc Stratus Can (2.5 oz) Burris FF on an LT mount Lower will have a CTR stock I'm hoping to keep this as light a possible... |
