[ARCHIVED THREAD] - which ring size?

Which size of rings should i specify for an offset light mount? i want to use a surefire E2D (executive defender). i'm fairly positive that it's the .830 inch rings, but can someone verify this for me?

the surefire website only shows the dimentions for the bezel, not the body o.d.

I really wish I could justify the QD mount for a light.
