Has anyone picked one of these up yet?  If so, pics, reviews, etc?

I was never a fan of the murse, er I mean BoB.  But, I've been oddly drawn to them lately, and the smaller offering on the site has my curiosity peaked....

I got the smaller one a few weeks ago.  It is pretty nice, and you can even strap it to your leg.  It also doesn't look like a man-purse, at least its not too bad.

+1 for the small BoB. Stuck a couple of M16 mag pouches on the front under the flap and a pair of pistol mag pouches on the side facing forward. I use the interior as a dump pouch with the flap tucked in. Very manly and works like a charm. Pics to follow soon.....

I have the rifle version of the bag. Unfortunately I got mine direct from hawkepaks. excellent quality and stitching, I may get the smaller one as a range bag. I think it is a well thought out product with enough space to fit a variety of useful gear. Mine even came with a few bonus items. First was a small folding knife (cheap Chinese knockoff), a carabiner keyring, and a 15 shotshell holder that goes into one of the M16 mag pouches.

It does however, rely too much on velcro. The flaps that cover the magazine pouch are not stitched in, instead they are attached with velcro. The biggest complaint is the pistol holster. It needs to be velcro'd onto the inner wall of the bag, and gets in the way, but I'd probably carrying my sidearm in my belt holster anyways.

Overall I think it makes an excellent "everyday" bag, and a good BoB. It's discreet enough to carry around (sans mags), and comfortable to carry. However, it can't carry 3-4 days of supplies like hiker backpacks can.

So, does the bag come with the holster and mag pouches?  That's a sweet deal if it does.

(ie, just about to hit the Add to Cart button on this...)

It comes with the holster, you will have to add your own mag pouches.  I just ordered the Rifle size bag.

The small bag comes with the Velcro held pistol holster but no mag pouches (add your own to suit you). The plain Hawkpaks version is probably a bit more discreet (LaRue logo sort of gives you away) but I use mine as a range bag so the point is moot. The shoulder strap works but would be better served with swivel hooks to keep from getting twisted up. All things considered, it's a well made product and a not-too-feminine "murse".

Living in Seoul without a vehicle, I use the smaller one as my everyday gym/errands/running around bag.  I put a Maxpedition Monkey Combat Admin Pouch on the outside under the flap, and a Medium TacTile on the inside, and it works great.
