I got mine....

I am going to carve my Thanksgiving turkey with the Larue logo on it.

This is the time for giving.  Since Larue has been great this year to me....I will be giving them my entire Chrismas bonus.

My wife appreciated it as well.  Now, as an aside, she also joined "Team LaRue" and is MORE enamoured with your company.  Translation - Christmas will be even MORE special at my house, all because you sweetened up the missus with your kind act of a card - THANKS!

Let's see - BUSINESS 101.  Spend $1.00 on printing and postage to do a mailer, sweeten up the family banker with warm holiday wishes, and banker allows purtchase/gifts of over $300 (more) dollars from LaRue.

Seriously though, we do wish all the Larue family a happy holidays and appreciate the products you make, your mindset, and your supoort of those that wear the colors, here and over there.

Ho, ho, ho, there is a wee hint on the Christmas card as to what's right now being mailed out to all the LT - Team Members.

Ah, yes. The "Schultz" Principle: "I know nothing".

Wise indeed.

I asked our no-bs IT Mgr. why someone might not get our coveted Christmas card and here is his reply ...

"Could have moved... wife got it, chunked it in the trash, has never ordered from us before and wasn't in system (so he wouldn't have gotten on the list), lost in the mail... "

So did this mailing run off the past order list or the Team LaRue list?  I was stationed in Arizona last time I ordered but now in Okinawa.  But my team LaRue address should be up to date.

ETA:  Damn now it look like I might miss out on some type of dillo.  Well after Christmas I should be adding another dillo to my desk at work.

Well I joined the "Team Larue" mailing list but thought I was already on it since I have purchased from Larue before. Oh well there is always next Christmas.

Sounds like a few must have gotten lost then.  I am on the list (your staff confirmed this today) and I know nothing was thrown out.  Strange.

I like how he also blames my wife like I do!!   Must be part of BRD!

Hmmm, we're getting quite a few orders right now initiated by women, much more so than average.  Perhaps they are way-laying those cards and jumping online themselves ...

I doubt it, but hopefully it'll make you feel better.

I got the e-version of the Christmas card today. Very slick.

Even my wife is excited about the red dillo! And she may be one of the woman-initiated orders, well at least I hope she is because there was some Larue gear on my Christmas list. ;)

My wife was so excited for about 15 seconds until I confirmed it was a red DILLO, Not a red DILDO.  Maybe the women are just not reading it close enough?

And, I too got my ecard, and wanted to say THANKS!  I feel like I should be getting you something too

It can work quite well.  A buddy of mine makes real nice, real popular "cowboy style" knives in north-western TX.  Last year he spent about $1500-$2000 to print and mail out unsolicited brochures.  He figures it got him $100K in sales.

Of course a good $20k of that was me, but still...

I got my e-card.

I was pretty close to getting my wife to order me some stuff for Christmas, but she backed out when I told her what I wanted and how much it would cost.

She did say that if you guys started a layaway plan, she'd throw in the down payment.

Nope, I just received an SPR-E with the standard Dillo - not that there's anything wrong with that. :)
