Hey Mark,

Just wanted to drop you a note saying thanks.  I ordered a hat from your website earlier this week.  The hat was shipped the same day and arrived at my door the next day.  Lo and behold when I opened the package, there was more, MUCH MORE, than just a single hat in there.  I was simply flabbergasted to see what the box contained for a $20 order.

Now, you didn't know at the time, and couldn't have possibly known (because I purchased it new from a board sponsor that sells your stuff), but I have one of your rails on my AR.   I couldn't be happier with the rail and I couldn't be happier with how I was treated when I bought directly from you.  Suffice to say, I'll be a walking LaRue billboard for quite some time.

Now that you have resolved whose product I am going to buy, I need to know which one to buy.  I have a DSA Para Congo with DSA extreme duty scope mount.  I need to mount an IOR M1 4x24.  What do you suggest for rings?  Am concerned about eye relief and clearance of the rear sight.

A very satisfied customer.

Fred,
Those IOR scopes have very short eye relief. I would reccomend our QD scope rings, item LT-123, for your application.
Thanks for your business!

Thanks for the reply Austin...I hope you pass on the good word to Mark so he knows his employees are doing right by his company.

I had the same experience today when my EoTech mount arrived.

I know for sure who will be making the rail system (and possibly the whole upper) to my next AR, and any optics mounts I may need for the future.

Yeah I'm planning my upper like I said in the last thread

Larue upper reciever... check
LaRue HG... check

Noveske on the barrel and FH, probably a standard FSB

and the only thing I get to order direct from them

552 w/ Mount

And MAYBE, if I can buget it, a flashlight mount, probably a dual

You know, for not currently owning a single piece of LaRue gear, I think that gives me a pretty decent start!

I didnt even realize till a couple of days ago that the top rail is much "taller" than the side/bottom rails... my current hand guard has all the rails at the same height which makes for a HUGE front end

Hmmm they make stuff how I would make it... thats probably why I like their stuff!
