Hey Bryan,
Not sure if you saw my question in the other thread - looking to order one, maybe two of these guys. I notice on the Wiki page for the WASR rifles, they show the following: ––- GP WASR-10/63 (Pistol Mitralieră 63) This designation was added by Century Arms International for marketing purposes only. WASR's with this designation are of no higher quality than any other WASR variant. The 2007 GP WASR-10/63 also has an updated front trunnion with added contact support for the bolt carrier. A WASR-10/63 with an under-folding stock was introduced into the product line in 2007. As of 2008, there are GP WASR-10/63 rifles which are being made from demilled military rifles. Look for a triangle with arrow (some only have a triangle) on the front trunnion. Quality is much better with these. ––- Can you tell me if these are indeed the demilled mil rifles? Also they say the following: Rifles sold/manufactured since mid to late 2007 have the Tapco G2 trigger group pre-installed, thus alleviating trigger slap. Such equipped rifles will have "Tapco USA G2" stamped on the left side of the trigger itself. Some of these rifles may exhibit canted front sight blocks and gas tubes. [2] Just curious if these have the Tapco G2 fcg in them? Sadly there's no detail shots close in on the webpage, so I can't check for myself. Are the front sight blocks canted at all? Thanks! |
