So on C&R does that mean that if you can have them shipped to me without going through a FFL/transfer process or is the C&R a license that you have to apply for? Sorry for the noob question. C&R is short for "Curio and Relic" and it is a type of FFL (03 to be exact). You DO have to apply for the license. It's pretty simple, though, you just send out for the paperwork, fill out the forms, send it in with a check for $30 and then wait. The ATF runs a background check on you and if you're clear (and 21), you get your license. From there, you can have people ship C&R ELIGIBLE firearms directly to your house. The license is good for three years. You do have to keep a record of the guns you receive this way (and their disposition). An 03 FFL doesn't allow you to deal in guns, though, and you can't do transfers for people. If you don't have an FFL, you'll need to go through one for a transfer. In other words, go here, order form 7CR (5310.16) and get your license! IIRC, the only firearms that can get shipped to a non-FFL holder are blackpowder guns and antiques (made before 1899). |

BTW, how is the recoil on these using the milsurp ammo? how does it compare to the 9mm.?... .45? I have only shot a 1911 and a G19... just wondering how it shoots.... Richard Its snappy. More like a 9mm than a 45 for sure. I'd say if you have shot some hot 9mm rounds from G19 its about that. |

should be here in early July Romy? Yugo? IIRC, in another thread he said that they were getting Romanian and Polish. The Yugos were not in great shape so they passed on them. Thanks, that's a shame. I like the extended mag/grip on the yugos. |

I like the extended mag/grip on the yugos. I'd probably get one Yugo to add to my collection, but I like to have a ton of spare mags and the Yugos (as you know) take the longer magazines so other Tok mags won't fit. I've read that some other vendor actually would send out a Yugo Tokarev with a good mag and a short spare mag that wouldn't fit. It would suck to have only one magazine for a pistol. |
| Bryan, what's the story on the tokarevs? on 2-8-09 you said one month. 5 months later - still nothing. i suspect that unreliable suppliers are the problem, but ....? I can still get a Romanian at a decent price from one of your competetors. or higher priced Polish or Romanian from another competetor, but i really rather buy from AIM. i waited too long on a CZ52 and now they are gone except a few overpriced ones or from individuals. i don't want to lose out again waiting by waiting too long. what can you tell us? keep waiting or the supllier is selling promises, or what??? Thanks |

Just got off the phone with the supplier, the delay is in Romania with the guys adding the safety (this safety is different from the Century job). they are in Romania, BEST CASE 3-4 weeks from now.
So i understand if you guys get them somewhere else. BUT this safety won't be the flintstone toe looking job on the other guys guns |
