I wear a 7 1/4" patrol cap/baseball cap. Should I order a large?

Can you recommend upgraded pads/chinstrap for the Bravo please.

Any way to attach a Go-pro to the VAS Shroud?

Any sort of arfcom discount or kool kids klub password I should know about?

I also assume these are in stock (tan) or is there a lead time?

Thanks guys

Go Pro sells a NV Helmet mount that will lock into the VAS.

Looks like this.

I have a Large Bravo with VAS and it fits well.

I would say that sounds about right.

You can upgrade the chinstrap HOWEVER, it will take some engineering on your part. You are going to have to drill larger holes to accomodate any other bolts. You may also have to move where the rear nape connects to the helmet. In my opinion, not worth it. By the time you get the upgraded chinstrap and pads etc, you spent just as much as buying a better helmet.

No idea on the GoPro mount, I use a ContourHD. I like the GoPro's it's just that well, the Contour was free.

No discount at the time, but keep an eye out, Santa Claus is coming soon.

These are in stock in tan. Lead time is as fast as you can order it.

These two statements are completely at odds with each other. lol

ETA: Be honest with me, are they terribly uncomfortable? Also, is it just the chinstrap that's a bitch or the pads as well?

The chinstrap is the most uncomfortable part to me. They are a great value helmet, however, they are nothing special. The chinstrap is kind of finicky to adjust while it's on your head. The pads are pretty thick too, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just I find that most folks complain that the PVS-14 won't get as close to their face as they'd like. That being said, I own one, and used one for a few years because at the time I was a poor, starving cop that scraped and scrounged money for a little gear here or there. It worked fine for me for the time being, but there are better valued options if money isn't an issue.

good info. Lastly, can you remvoe the pads and replace with more comfy ones? Team wendy or similar? Any other pad options you could recommend?

You can, but no pads are specifically made or optimized for the PT. You may have to modify a little bit. Honestly, I never swapped out any padding on mine, just because there was no direct replacement pad set.

I took the top pad out and it fit my big a head a lot better.

I've considered slicing the top pad in half thickness wise, just hadn't gotten around to it yet.
