You may be a bit out of your budget, but I would look at our L3 PVS-14 along with an ITAL or OTAL Class 1 lasers.
After that, save a few more pennies and get into a light weight helmet such as the OPS Core Base Jump or the A-Alpha's along with our TM-14 QD PVS-14 mount that is the absolute quickest transition from head to weapon or vice-versa.
