Do these still have the battery drain problem or have all the "bad" units been serviced by LD?

funny, I purchased one a couple of months ago it is eats batteries like candy.

I sent mine in the week of Dec 22 for warranty, they were fixed and are still going strong. My understanding is e fix was figured out that week,
