Vic,
I saw a video show casing the mini wasp clip on. Looks pretty sweet, and a small compact unit also. Is there any plans to make it adaptable to a pic rail? What are the specs on the unit as far as objective lens and max magnification? Looks like a neat unit. Thanks KM |

Hi K!
We're in the middle of shoot testing with the Mini WASP. As you know with the original announcement WASP, things ALWAYS change. It has to, as nothing is perfect out of the box. (I wish that could be the case). It's been fun watching certain folks attempt to pre-judge units before they get released, but we all know what that's about, it's what certain companies and individuals do for their own benefits and motives. The resolution of the full size WASP 8000 down range is something special. There was a "special" invite only shoot sponsored by Aimpoint at last weeks Shot Show where several top Mil Shooters along with a 30+ ITT rep peered into the WASP 8000. Now with these folks we listen VERY closely and take their comments VERY SERIOUSLY. Their reaction to looking at the outline of large boulders at 2200m was quite gratifying. We will have details forthcoming once we finish all our shoot testing and T&E on the Mini WASP. Thus far we're happy with the results and we feel we're on the right track. It's not easy to produce a qaulity clip on at a lower price using Mil-Spec Hardware. We've seen what the cheap clip-on offerings out there today yields. More to come....

Vic Thanks for the update Vic. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. KM Edit: I have to say the wasp has one BIG ASS objective! |

Vic Thanks for the update Vic. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. KM Edit: I have to say the wasp has one BIG ASS objective! Indeed, so does the Raptor 6x. |
| Is the MiniWASP going to be a clip-on in the style of the PVS-22 or a dedicated scope like the Raptor? I'd really like to get my hands on a mini clip-on like the KAC UNS-SR without forking over a testicle and a kidney. If anyone can do it and do it well, it'll be TNVC. |

It will be a clip-on like the PVS-22 style of optics. Thank you for the kind words. Vic |

So is this progressing? TNVC @ SHOT Couple vids down. Vic talks about it very briefly and doesn't give much information, but it's there in all its pint-sized glory. I would LOVE to test one of these on the new Leupy Mark 6. Vic, if you wanna throw one of them in with the patches I ordered a couple days ago feel free. It's the order going to Florida. I'll return it eventually, well tested of course. |
More to come....
