Vic,

Man is that head impressive!  I cannot believe the "wall of light" that if puts out.  You will have some additional clients from the folks I showed it to tonight for sure.

I had a question about the purpose of the glow in the dark ring visible aft of the bezel after the light is turned off...What is it purpose?  For the life of me I cant figure it out.

thanks for your help and another GREAT product!!

Glad you like the light!  The ring is to assist with folks finding their light on a night stand. We WILL have plain o-rings as well that do not glow for folks who elect not to want this. Thank you!

Hi Vic,

I, too, just received my tx-4 and am really impressed! Great product.
However,  I do not like the glow ring facing the bad guys, so when will the regular rings be available?
I will buy additional tx-4s for my other work and play rifles, but the glow ring has got to go....

thanks.

Roger on all...The black o-rings should be here in the next two weeks. Clasky is taking down folks that want the black o-rings, give him a IM or email. Thanks!

Glad you like the light and thank you for the purchase!

You guys are the best!  Thanks Vic and Clasky for sending me out the black o-ring replacement.
All I had to do was ask once and email Clasky...it came in the mail without hassle or drama.  Thanks for the excellent customer service.  I will be ordering more TX4 units..

Echoing the sentiment about the top notch customer service from this company.  I had a situation that with exchanging my TX-4 head, and Victor/TNVC expedited my replacement so I would have it in time for a scheduled night shoot.

I will buy from TNVC again and again and again.  They have earned my respect and loyalty

You guys absolutely rock!!!!

Hey guys! I just got the TX4 LED head the other day. VERY VERY BRIGHT!!!

Only thing that Im confused about is The TX4 ran on full brightness for 25 minutes until the LED began to dim and flicker. Thinking there was something wrong with the batteries, I put in a fresh set of Surefires in it, and got 30 minutes of run time, then the LED went dim once again. I know the chart says a run time of 105 minutes. But what exactly is the run time for the TX4 with the LED staying constantly bright? 30 minutes does not seem all that great for an LED. Im currently using the surefire M900A, its a 3 battery 9V setup.
I emailed Vic at TNVC, and he was quick to get back with me (like 10 minutes :)  ).  He said that 30 minutes seems about right.. I have posted this same topic in other forums, and alot of people are saying that 30 minutes seem quite short. The 225 lumen Incadecent bulb will give me 20 minutes of runtime according to surefire. So how does a 600 lumen LED only give 30?
I see people are bragging about their LED hand helds giving them well over 1 hr at full brighness with only (2) 3v batteries

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Same reply here from your other post asking the same.

Thanks for the email. What I said was "about right" was the unit probably went into regulation if the unit got too hot at FULL constant on which you explained you were running for 30 minutes straight. We have found some body housings also caused this with SOME M900's as well.  If you like as we talked about, you can return the unit to have it checked out with your M900.  Hope this helps.
