[ARCHIVED THREAD] - E2 conversion head

I have an older (7 years) Surefire E2E light. I am wondering if your dual stage head assembly will work or do you need a special tail cap also. Another question is I noticed the working voltage is 3.0v. If you have 2 CR123 in series wouldn't this equal 6v or am I thinking wrong, or is the head assembly regulated to 3v. Sorry if these questions are a little how do you put it......dumb. Thanks for the Info.

No special tail cap needed, your stock one will work as all the programing for the dual stage operation is done in our heads. Voltage on the E2 should be 3-14v, we have a typo on our web site. . Thank you.
