Whats the difference between the EX and the non-EX?  Also, do I have to buy the rails separate or does it come with a set?

Will a clamp on gas block fit in there?

Hello,
The EX models wrap around the gas block on the sides and bottom giving you extra reality with a large gas block.

The Evolution hand guards ship with 2- 2" rails and 1- 4" rail.

The inside diameter is 1.56".  As long as the gas block does not exceed that it will fit.  We make a low profile gas block that works great with the Evolution.

Thanks,

So are you saying its "buldges" around the gas block area for large gas blocks?

So its pretty much a cut.  Looks good, but looks pretty close to touching.  I am going to think about that.

Hello
It does not touch the gas block.  The clearance around the gas block is large enough, yet small enough to keep items from getting in.
