I've been using a Samson rail system for many years now.
I visited with Scott and his family at SHOT this year and I was very very impressed with the new Star series rail system. I ended up ordering the newest version that is cut for a piston (even though I don't use a piston) because it's a 1/2 ounce lighter than any of the others. I'm going to replace my older MRF-CX rail. The pin system that is used to seperate the upper and lower halves is just brilliant. I ended up also ordering a flip up rear sight (dual aperture) to replace a MI rear sight that is just to tall. I want to thank the folks at Samson for turning out a great product, and for good cold beer at the show.
