| Besides the included rail section that has a QD socket machined in it, are there any other options to put a QD socket on the Gen2 SS handguard (either MI or 3rd party)? I want a cleaner looking QD socket without the rail on it, since you really can't use the rail to mount anything if you have a sling mounted into the socket at the same time. |

This will fit the bill. The holes line up and screws thread right in.
