Hey all,
I was installing my new handguard last night after getting it back from the cerakote guy and had the worst possible thing happen. I was turning the screws and before I had even hit the recommended torque value (35 in-lbs) i heard a creak and watched as the two anti rotation tabs on the right side fell away! I couldnt believe it! Has this happened to anyone else? I am just curious if anyone else has done this or is it just me here? I have contacted MI about this and am awaiting a reply, I dont know if there is anything that they can do for me. I love their stuff so hoping that something can be done, either way lets be honest I will probably be ponying up for another one of these handguards because I have used them in the past and like them too much to change. I know MI is a sponsor, is there a rep from MI that could possibly tell me if you could just sell me a replacement handguard without the barrel nut, spanner, etc? I just need a 10" OD green SS Gen 2 tube, maybe? |
