I just thought I would add a pic of my new SPRish rifle I built using a T-15.

Also I weighed the T-15 compared to a cheap UTG non freefloat 7" carbine hand guard and I was honestly amazed.
the T-15 and barrel nut were 17.64 ounces:

The UTG with the stuff I was able to remove to run the free float, aka barrel nut, top of sight post, bayo lug, sling loop weighed 17.32 ounces on a handguard 8 inches shorter!

Thanks for the OD goodness. I'm working on an OD build myself for a 16 inch barrel and wanted a good pic of the MI OD handguards. That bright sunlight in your picture really shows the color well. Definitely going with MI T-12 in OD on my build.
